The daisies of Albenga
The daisy represents the flowering plant with the most interesting production both for quality and quantity.
It has been cultivated in the Albenga plain from many years and now it is mostly produced in white colour. The production is mainly in bush shape and, in a smaller quantity, in stem shape.

In a smaller quantity than the white ones, in Albenga there is also the cutivation of pink, red and yellow daisies.
The production of potted flowering plants in Albenga
Albenga has a large production of potted flowering plants which, even though in a smaller quantity than daisies, have conquered for years the Italian and foreign markets: Germany, France, Austria, Holland, Eastern countries.
In autumn the most important productions are cyclamens and, in a lesser quantity, chrysanthemums and poinsettias.
Other varieties of flowering plants grown in the plain are: Callas, Dimorfotecas, Fuchsias, Hydrangeas, Mesembryanthemums, Lantanas, etc.
